Hey guys, Here are some mixes to keep you all entertained while we're not on the road.
Pete Tong asked us to do an Essential Mix, which was something of a thrill. Many a time have I tuned into here his slick radio voice intoning “from the famous Radio 1 studios, on the worlds biggest turntables”. I can, however, vouch that the turntables were more or less average size. Here’s the mix free from those sensual, whispered idents that they chuck around far too liberally, in my humble opinion.
Alexandro Jodorowsky ‘F Machine’ (Soundtrack)
Tony Lionni ‘Found a Place’
Luke Solomon ‘People, Places, Thoughts and Faces (Ajello ReMix)’
David Labeij ‘Shakedown’
Just Two Ordinary People ‘Lucky Times (Paul Frick ReMix)’
2000 and One ‘Wan Poku Moro’
Pezzner ‘Shasta’
Mark Broom and Brothers Vibe ‘Mind/Feeling (youANDme Hirsch Edit)’
Makam ‘New York Hustler’
Arto Mwambe ‘Ombala Mbembo’ (Brontosaurus Records)
Michel Cleis ‘La Mezcla’ (Cadenza)
Visti & Meyland ‘Yes Ma’am (Kasper Bjorke Mix)’-
dOP ‘The Genius of the Crowd’

Daniele Papini ‘Church of Nonsense’
Cajmere ‘Say U Will’
Friendly Fires ‘Jump In The Pool (Wild Geese Mix)’
